Commissioning

Commissioning a piece of jewellery is a unique and rewarding experience and I can design a commission to suit most budgets.

 

Consultation

The commissioning process starts with a consultation, this can be in person in my studio or your own home, by phone, email, via Instagram or on Zoom. My role in during the consultation is to really listen to what my customer wants from their jewellery. From this consultation I can create a page of designs hopefully capturing the essence of what we have discussed including your taste, budget and lifestyle. If you like one of the designs I will then price it up, there is no charge or obligation for this design service. If you then decide you want to proceed with your chosen design I take a 50% deposit when the order is placed and 50% on completion. Please allow a lead time of 8 weeks for a commission to be completed.

Remodelling

…or “making heirlooms for the future”!

Do you have jewellery you have inherited but don’t wear as it is old fashioned/dated/ doesn’t fit your personal style? I can reuse your stones or metal, therefore keeping the integrity of the heirloom but reimagining it into something you would wear. The process is as above, consultation and designs. If you decide to proceed with the remodelling I take a 50% deposit and the balance on completion.

Wedding Rings

I have made all styles of wedding rings throughout the years; straight or shaped, plain or diamond set, silver, platinum and gold. If you would like to email me a photo of your engagement ring I can create a page of wedding ring designs to sit with and compliment your engagement ring. There is no charge or obligation for this. If you decide to go ahead with one I take a 50% deposit and the other 50% on completion. Please allow eight weeks from order to finished wedding ring.

Does your jewellery need a little TLC?

I can carry out an extensive range of repairs including re sizing rings, repairing chains, replacing clasps, re-rhodiuming white gold to name but a few. Please email me and I can give you an estimate for any jewellery that needs repairing.
